Jiangxia Mining Commences Construction of the +56 Access Ramp (SJ13), Advancing Technical Upgrading and Mine Safety

Jiangxia Mining has officially commenced construction of the +56 Access Ramp (SJ13), an important component of its ongoing mine development program. The project has been formally reviewed and approved by the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Cambodia (MME), reflecting the Ministry’s strong guidance, support, and commitment to the responsible, safe, and sustainable development of Cambodia’s mining industry.

The +56 Access Ramp (SJ13) represents a significant step forward in Jiangxia Mining’s continuous efforts to modernize mine infrastructure and improve underground operational conditions. Upon completion, the new ramp will provide safer and more efficient access to deeper ore zones, substantially enhancing the transportation of ore, equipment, and personnel. At the same time, it will support further improvements in underground ventilation, drainage capacity, and overall mine logistics, thereby strengthening operational reliability and production efficiency.

More importantly, the construction of SJ13 demonstrates Jiangxia Mining’s commitment to technical upgrading and safer mine development. By improving underground access design and optimizing mine engineering systems, the project will help reduce operational risks, improve working conditions for underground personnel, and create a stronger foundation for long-term, efficient resource extraction. It will also enhance the mine’s ability to adopt more advanced and systematic underground development methods in the future.

The project includes excavation works and slope stabilization measures, all of which are being implemented in strict accordance with MME’s regulatory requirements and relevant engineering standards. Throughout construction, Jiangxia Mining is also carrying out comprehensive safety supervision, geotechnical monitoring, and environmental management measures to ensure high construction quality, effective risk prevention, and minimal impact on surrounding communities and the environment.

Once completed, SJ13 will not only improve productivity and optimize resource utilization, but also further elevate the mine’s technical standards, safety performance, and sustainable development capacity.
